They are not travelling free, “What's been put in place is the possibility for free booking in order to attribute numbered seats to the refugees so they remain grouped together and they can avoid any risk of conflict that may come if they'd taken seats reserved by other passengers."

They are paying to travel still but not always being charged a wee bit more for a reserved seat.
Hmm, I suspect the company is back tracking fast to avoid a backlash.

Either way they are facilitating the immigrants to travel faster.

/// They are not travelling free, ///

And I can't see where anyone has suggested that they are.
What was the story about? Four instances of folk not being charged up to €3 out of how many? Is that going to break the back of SNCF? Terrible.

Is it more likely that some folk are getting their y-fronts in a tangle because they thought passengers were travelling completely free?

Who are these folk?

You are the only one on here who has mentioned it.

The headline says,

'French train company SNCF angers right-wing politicians by allowing refugees to travel without valid tickets'

Looks to me like some politicians think the travellers have no tickets.
That's yer left wing 'rags' for you, ain't it, corby.
You'd better stick to the Mail, aog. ;-)

'Non-Valid' Tickets are entirely different to 'Free' Tickets.

Who said they had a problem pronouncing Calais?
//However, he admitted staff had been told to be 'understanding' in dealing with migrants without tickets.//

Even anybody with half a brain in this country who understands the French know exactly what the above can be interpreted to mean.

RETROCOP From your link, 'An SNCF spokesman told AFP, France's national news agency: 'There are no free tickets. What's been put in place is possible free booking to attribute numbered seats to (migrants) so they remain grouped together and to avoid any risk of conflict between passengers if (migrants) take seats reserved by others.'

If and when you find someone with half a brain, get them to explain that to you since it's beyond your comprehension.
^Lol. Calm down, dear.
Which aspect do you think is the more dominant in his genetic code? The Corbyn or the loon?
Is "the more" redundant in my previous post. Over to PP.
