Does anyone else not understand a word Bernadette says in The Big Bang or is it just me?

Have you checked you don't have high-frequency hearing loss?
She speaks with a very high-pitched voice and it’s common for hearing loss to occur in the high-frequencies before it happens in the low frequencies.

Yeah but sometimes she speaks so high, only dogs can hear her!

She is VERY squeaky sometimes, yes!

She does get high and squeaky, but I can hear her nonetheless.

If you listen to Melissa Rauch (Bernadette) talking 'normally', she has a 'normal' voice. Apparently, she based Bernadette's voice on her mother!

A little high pitched agree... there's another show on E4... i think its called 2 broke girls... OMG! I can't hear a word of them... squawking... I turn it over straight away.
