I don't want to be churlish here,but was disappointed with the referee's decision to award a penalty against the Scots,without consulting the TV evidence.
Particularly as this ref.has always used this evidence ad nauseum during prior games.

It has been shown that a scrum should have been awarded rather than a penalty. Also the yellow card was extremely harsh.

apparently he can't ask the TMO except in cases of foul play or possible penalty tries. (Or something. Don't ask me to understand the laws of rugby, no human being has ever done it.)
