Printing Pages

My printer is old but was up and running on Sat.

However I am trying out some emails and unfortunately have run out of paper ie about 4 pages left. So wont let me print.

Would the the loss of not enough pages cause this. I have maintained etc the printer is epsun stylus C46.

Also the lights of he printer are going out which never done before. I have plugged and unplugged etc - will go out soon and get paper oh by the black ink is completely finished but there is some coloured ink - which I thought could have done the job. Thanks

by the way sorry I am on Windows 7 but there is like a little world symbol on it and I don't have it.

Jenny from what you have written about the error code your printer has 'jammed' because you pressed the 'print' button perhaps too many times. All you need to do is clear all documents that are queuing up to be printed (the 46 pages) and start again when you have some ink,

BTW -you CAN print black without any black ink as I've done it many times before. In fact on my printer it will tell you you have run out of black and do you wish to continue using the other colours.

Retro - I deffo have no black ink and therefore no cartridge in the printer. I went to my local paper place and was able to buy a packet of paper but he is telling me that the C46 is excinct??? Anyway contacted another computer place he said the same - Hurray for the oul Amazon - I have ordered quite a few - I'll be dead before they run out. there is colour mixed in the with order with is ok for £7.96.

PS I do know the printer can run even lightly on the colours because there is about 3 quarters of colour but still not printing. Another cuppla days and the Amazon will be here. Thanks Retro - off to CU..
