Did anyone watch the programme about the SAS training tonight?

I didn't see the programme. I meant to but missed it. I hope it will be shown again. I know someone who passed selection for the SAS. He never ever talked about it. He was small, slight but omg, he was one VERY strong, tough, brave man. I have every respect for them all.

One of my brothers was SAS. The other one was a Royal Marines Commando. Me? I was Royal Artillery.

Didn't see the Programme but I can assure you it was tough enough getting into The Royal Marines when I did it 40+ years ago.

Did you watch Commando, Balders. I think that was the name about the training cadre at Lympstone where my younger son gave it a bash.

There is being relatively fit and then there is the SAS training programme. Mental and physical torture, hats of to those who are giving it a go

As my Career ended as the result of an RTC, I was very aggrieved about that and tend not to watch progs that remind me of a previous life.

Mikey kindly referred me to a fly on the wall recent documentary which he thought I may enjoy. Called Cops I think. A nice sentiment and appreciated but not my cuppa tea.
