Try:-

- RIGHT-Click on a blank / unused area of your Desktop
- Select 'New'
- Select 'Shortcut'
- In the ' Type Location of item' window, enter the desired web address e.g. HTTP://WWW.GOOGLE.COM (you could also copy and paste the address text from your web browser address bar if you initially access that page in your browser)
- Click 'Next'
- Enter a name for the shortcut that you want to appear on your desktop e.g. GOOGLE, then click 'Finish'
Simple method.:-

1) Open Website.
2) Reduce size of page.
3)Left click and hold the icon in address bar, immediately in front of www.
4)Slide to a blank space on screen and release.

Hans.

Why not just save them as a favourite in whatever web browser you're using?
