jennyjoan; I had two D 92s both worked with compatible cartridges until I followed some request from Epson to update and then the trouble started. There are Youtubes showing how to remove the cartridge switch off all power supply, wait several minutes and replace the cartridge and restart. Some times it worked but then reverts to these messages. I just couldn't be fazed anymore and bought a Canon Pixma, I never add any updates and it keeps working fine with compatible replacement inks.
