Name of a schools programme please

This was asked on another site and is bugging me now. It was a schools programme in which this boy and girl of about 10 & 11 travel thru time with their Grandad to see how things used to be, Anyone any idea's?

The only thing I could think of which is really similar would have been Starbec, but this was a Welsh educational programme.

The Magic Grandad. The actor who play Catweasle was the Grandad. Geoffrey Bayldon. Hope we are thinking of the same programme.

Aliceband, I can't say for certain whether it is ot it isn't. The name doesn't ring any bells, and to be honest, for some reason, I have it in my head that the actor peter armitage played the grandad.

However, nothing likely is listed for him on IMDb, nor for geoffrey bayldon. Of course, that is not a definitive source, as it is only as good as the info submitted.
