parcel deliveries

does anybody know how i go about getting a part time job delivering catalogue parcels for freemans & next catalogues etc as ive tried everywhere & cant find any information on it if anybody can help that be great thanx x

we had a leaflet come through the door from the lady who delivers our parcels advertising for delivery drivers. is there a person in your area that does deliveries? maybe ask them how they got into it.

You sure you want to do this? The bloke that delivers my mail order stuff says he only does it until he can get something better. He only gets paid per parcel he can deliver (not an hourly wage) and he has to use his own car to do it (gets expenses but doesn't cover insurance or wear and tear). Says the pay is stuff-all for the work and the sooner he can get out of having to do the job, the better.
