I have never really understood this craze for selfies, It doesn't bother me, if people want to do them alright. But to endanger yourself in the process, that to me is sheer stupidity.

We didn't have to earwig, tambo. Quite the opposite, in fact. The place in question is not much bigger than my front room (can do about 25 covers, max). It's a quiet place; there are rarely parties of more than four, mostly it's just couples; people go there because it is thus. There were just a dozen people there on Saturday and although two tables away, Bob's missus was no more than about eight feet away from us. Conversation between Mrs NJ and I was all but impossible until the holiday report had been completed. The proprietor's daughter (who runs front of house) was unable to take her other customers' orders without them having to shout. Lack of consideration, rudeness and just plain ignorance do not adequately describe it.
