No, the mobile phone companies should. Every time we travel on the bus the young mums get on with their pushchairs, stuff a bag of crisps into their kids hands and then ignore them whilst they either play games or chat on their cell phone. This creates a habit of "grazing" which ends up with overweight kids.
I have never heard of addictive ingredients. What exactly are they?
I think ingredients should be displayed and then it is up to the individual if they choose to eat the product.
People are obese because they choose to eat too much - usually rubbish.
The proposed sugar tax annoys the life out of me. I am a skinny but enjoy the odd fast food meal and sweets/chocolates. Why should I pay tax just because I can exercise restraint and only have one Mars bar, while someone obese will eat 10?

I agree, Mrs Overall. Sugar tax and all those namdy pamdy procedures to try and regulate how we eat is over the top. The overweight people will not start eating less unhealthy stuff just because it will be dearer.
This reminds me of some frumpy old women who purposely went to visit an unofficial nudist beach so that she could report to the authorities that she was offended by nudity in a public place.
It is high time that people start to take responsibility for their own health.

To Answer the OP -no it is not the responsibility of Fast Food Corps to Police how much of their products are eaten. They are required by Law in the UK to provide nutritional information, and they do provide 'healthier' options. Adults are 100% responsible for what they eat and what they give their children.
