Electrolux Freezer Too Cold

Model EN 28600. It is set to number one,minimum setting. But seems really cold and frosty, cannot even get a spoon into the ice cream, it is rock solid. The fridge freezer is around eight years old, I have noticed it before with ice cream and then it was OK again. The last ice cream we had last week, was fine, this seems to happen from time to time. Other things have a slight frost over the bags especially in the highest drawer.

You dont happen to have the drawers packed too tightly with food do you ?
If air can't circulate you will get a cold spot where everything is frozen solid and the rest of the freezer may be 'slightly less cold'.
Try putting less stuff in the higher drawer.

No the ice cream is in the middle and the freezer is not full. Everything seems extra hard and extra cold. Does it need repairing do you think?
