Sorry, Penpydin
Pen Pidyn is the term up here jackdaw. We wont get away with this for long. Or it becomes the standard AB nomenclature as in PP.
I am right, though, aren't I? The head of the male organ?
Yep translation is hick dead.
The one a Welsh speaker taught me was, "Cer i grafu efo dy nain."
That is sort of 'go scratch with your granny' Bit local to where you were I think. Probably means a bit more with some Imagination.
I worked in N.Wales on and off over 10 years or so. at the beginning I sometimes thought the locals were speaking welsh until I got my head around their accent. I once said to a guy in a pub who had spoken to me 'I'm sorry I don't speak Welsh, could you speak English'...his curt reply was 'I am speaking bluddy English'.
Thoroughly nice generous people, can be a bit shy out in the country but very hospitable. I 've been fed and taken rabbit shooting and survived.
You need to replace scratch with the f word.

Will I have to take my own cutlery? ;-)

Well, I'm back in one piece and I found the natives very charming indeed. I couldn't have met a more friendly bunch of people :-)
