The best day, for months ! 19 degrees at the Usk Reservoir...very, very sunny and not a breath of wind.

I have no doubt the Usk reservoir was a land filled valley.
If you had your way and you wish to build swarthes of new cities and towns just to accomodate immigrants in this country then I suggest we will have to store the essence of survival to accomodate them. Water.
We would lose loads of valleys which would have to be flooded along with the villages,hamlets and communities they contain just to supply water to your dreams of mass building. For what? To provide a building project just to provide short term employment for whom?

Twas the most glorious blue sky day here in N. Wales. Got most of the summer pots and tubs emptied and stored away and the Dahlia and Begonia corms and tubers out and drying. The mist has rolled down the valley and is filling the air with menace. Will go cold soon. Keep the rain to yourselves, if you don't mind, all you folk down south, who had the sunshine all summer.
