HI there could any one tell me. what are the chemicals which make light sticks glow when you crack them and set off the reaction.
I believe they use the same reaction as some oceanic molluscs?

Luciferin and Luciferase - one is contained in a glass vial within the other - bending the stick breaks the glass causing the chemicals to mix and give off light
