Paypal Payment Unclaimed

I have bought something on E-bay and my Paypal payment shows the status as unclaimed ,what exactly does that mean ? ,the seller has just emailed me to say they will send it when they get the payment.

It means the paypal address you sent the payment to is not registered with eBay. You can cancel the payment and it will go back into your paypal.
Check that you have got the details correct with the seller first though.

the seller has cancelled my order so I have gone to my paypal account and have cancelled the payment , I hope I get the refund.
