It looks as if we are not now going to have the debate and vote on UK air strikes against Islamic State militants in Syria.

What with his recent defeat in the HOL, perhaps that slim majority of 12 is not really enough ?

Ich hates the Russians, probably with good cause.
But that clouds his judgement and he believes all the anti Russian propaganda.
It is difficult to get a true picture of what is really hapoening, but the line Ich is pushing, that the Russians are getting a bloody nose, is not backed up by ANY credible reports coming from Syria. He thinks the Russians will throw in the towel soon, but that is wishful thinking.

Ann...I first heard "frit" used by a certain ex-Prime Minister many years ago.
I no longer utter her name, but the word seemed strangely apposite in this connection somehow !
