Aw come on Sandy, you know better, you don't need to repeat yourself, if you want to bring something back into latest posts just put an answer on it, if no-one has done that for over four hours it means no-one's interested!
Sandy, I'm not an oenophile, but I know what I like and I'd love to taste it. Maybe DTC will be along
Balders, behave!
Sandy, I would love to help, but I know nothing about wines!!
Sandy
In all honesty I doubt I have sampled a tincture of that particular wine from that vinyard.
I can say, however, that I made the mistake of holidaying in that region with my young family a good few years ago.
We were surrounded by different vinyards displaying Degustation and vendee and I took them up on their generous invitation.
Quite frankly the Languedoc wine would of damaged my newly won car's diesel engine if I poured it in the tank.
I hate wine from that region. Hope my honest opinion may help. :-)

I won't be drinking any of it myself. I thought I might get half a case to cover my Christmas presents list.

Now what????
Crikey Retro, I'll stick to Penfolds and Wolf Blass then
Balders xxx

My offering brought this back into latest posts and at least got it some response which it had not had beforehand, so there ;o)
In my opinion Sandy you'd be better off searching out a proper wine merchant (as opposed to an off-licence or supermarket) and seeing what they recommend.
Just because a wine has a famous name on it doesn't necessarily mean it's worth the money.

xx
But stay with French.

(I like Minervois)
I wouldn't buy that, sandy. I am a wine drinker but going by the reviews ,your choice is not that great. If you want to buy your friends wine, get something you know they like. Six bottles of something they love is better than one bottle of something no one knows about.
