How To Remove Insects?

Hi all,

My boyfriend and I have recently decided to clear out our conservatory which hasn't been used and has become a general dumping ground for junk during the winter, but we've found the whole place is now full of big spiders and various other creepy crawlies....I hate having to get him to capture them all the time so I was wondering does anyone know any good way of getting them out without having to touch them?

I've seen those electronic things that you plug in and they emmit a sonar signal or something which is harmless but encourage the spiders/insects to leave and stay out, but do they actually work?

Not sure if they work as have been lucky enough to not have insect problems. However if you do try one, I'd also put one in the room connecting to the conservatory, to they flee in the correct direction, instead of into the house.

clear all the junk out and sweep the walls,ceiling and all the corners to clear them so theres no where for them to hide! they love cardboard boxes,so go through any boxes and repack stuff after empying to disturb them! hope this helps x
