They have no intention, now or ever, of making any permanent reforms...
They will make a few concessions to try and fool us into staying in and then once theyve conned us, the screw for total control over us will start turning as quick as they can make it turn...

Tuesdays list of demands will not be earth shattering and will have been draw up with the expectation that the EU can agree to them. After a lot of noisey distractions, Cameron will have his demands met, and will claim to have won us a better deal.
Whether the public believes that, remains to be seen.

I think everyone expects (and knows in their hearts) that it will be a cosmetic blurring job. As the OP suggests, once we vote to stay in even there concessions will be shelved as 'inconvenient at the moment' or words to that effect. I want to see forthright demands, but even that presupposes that the EU mandarins would carry-through any agreement, a highly dubious supposition . I think most people think we have reached 'point-non-plus' before Dave even starts any 'hard' talking.
Vote for or against EU? There's a large percentage of our population which enjoys the largesse of Britain's welfare state and benefits from the malformed moral concepts which are represented by the ironically named European Court of Human Rights.

It's going to take a publicity storm to get us out - my kids have never known anything else and think I'm slightly barmy in insisting that we'll be fine. Hope to goodness that only British-born, registered voters are allowed to vote.
Looks as if Dave is trying to pre-empt the worst news from Europe by calling an early referendum in June. Orange alert!!!!
