So it has arrived in Lockerbie, worried about the greenhouse blowing away, garden a swamp, oh to live in Scotland! What is it like where you are, roll on hurricane Betty!

Raining and strong breeze and quite cold in Manchester. Some very strong gusts when I was out earlier but few and far between.

Can hear the upstairs window rattling though so I imagine I'll need to go close that up shortly.

Wind has risen significantly in the last couple of hours. Road bridge from Dundee to Fife now closed as I think most are in Scotland. I'm not budging tonight.

Rather damp and blustery here in Plymouth and the wind is both cold and mild...weird.

Hurricanes earlier and driving rain here in ABZ. Now however, calm and not a drop of rain. Just walked the pooch. Quite autumnal and not a blowy leaf in sight!!!??? Till tomorrow's revenge i believe..... X
