Has anyone else noticed that their gums have receded slightly since using an electric toothbrush? Any idea how to stop it?

most people's gums gradually recede anyway (hence the saying 'long in the tooth' to mean old). I don't think electricity has anything to do with it.
i like electric toothbrushes.
Mine were receding before I started using an electric toothbrush, using one stopped it.

I love my 'leccy toothbrush, my teeth do seem considerably cleaner since I started using it too.
My dentist recommended using an electric toothbrush for receeding gums. Like Robbo82 my teeth feel much cleaner too.
