Just got in from a Queen Tribute night. They were called Mercury and May and were really good.
They did "I want to break free" as the Corrie version. With the black wig, boobs and a Hoover. That was a fantastic touch to the night. If anyone gets the chance do go and see them.

Why's it called the Corrie version?

Because some of the cast of coronation street did a version of "I want to break free" with Freddy played by I think Kevin Webster with a long black wig, pink tshirt, boobs, and pushing a Hoover up and down. It was so funny.

Caran, glad you had a good night, sounds great! Reminds me of a conversation in work with a colleague, bit of a comedian he is. He said, yeah ... tribute bands are the next big thing & had I heard 'Living in a flat' I said, who are they then? .. & he replied .. 'Crowded House' LOL!!
