Old Mothers Sayings.

When I was changing the bed this morning, I remembered something my mother always said.
When putting the pillowcases on, always have the end with the opening, facing the outsides of the bed. This is so the Angels can fly out when they want to!

I used to work in a shop (Threshers off license - remember them?) and the manager always told me to sweep away from the door. That was probably more logical though: if you sweep towards the door, the wind could blow it all over that place again.
