Barnardos Babys

My estranged father died a few years back, I had no contact with him since I was 4. My Mum has told me as much as she could about him but sadly he was an alcoholic and we are unsure of the truthfulness of his stories. Anyway, he apparently was placed in Barnados care as a baby, I was wondering if they would be able to tell me details about his biological parents and adoptive, but I think that would contravene confidentiality? Any help and suggestions would be great in how I could go about tracing that branch of my family tree, would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

no probs, supply as much info as u can including proof that you are his blood relative, i'e he is on your birth certificate as your father.
