What we should worry about is not the schools which are recognised and known about. We have to worry about the schools which work in secret. This is how: parents have the right to take their children out of school ( or never let them start ) in order for them to have home schooling. Local councils have no obligation ( well, not in England, but maybe in Scotland and Wales) to check on these children or to see what standard of education they are getting or how many hours they study or even what they study. The girls could easily be "studying" in the home - looking after Granny, cleaning and cooking, etc. Secret schools can be set up to teach these children in hidden locations, so they can be indoctrinated ( brainwashed) into any ideology without the authorities having to know or care. If the parents want the children not to receive a standard education, but really don't intend to teach them themselves at home, these secret schools are the perfectly-designed answer. It is high time the government made councils responsible for "home" schooling - at least by setting up some regulatory body.
