It's seems to happening more frequently, is there some connection with the reporting of these do you think? Is it giving Ideas to nut jobs who are close to doing this sort of thing anyway and seeing on the TV is the final catalyst? The US has to start looking at this problem more seriously.

I agree there's often a copy cat element to some of these shootings.
Their President would like some restrictions on the availability of weapons. Not many other politicians do.
Yet more mad people, with guns.
I'm sure that the NRA will come along soon, probably tomorrow, to tell us that its people kill people, not guns.
...and San Bernadino sounds like such a lovely place. Is nowhere safe?
But it is the people not the guns Mickey.

Removing the guns will not stop the nutters, they will just find something else to use.

The Americans need to sort out the cause not just the symptom.
Apparently this is the 355th USA shooting incident where four or more people are killed in 2015, on the year's 336th day. That leaves uncounted those incidents where fewer than four are killed. The NRA and constitutionalists must indeed be proud.
youngmafbog. It is very hard to kill 7 people in a few seconds unless you use a gun!
'' removing guns will not stop the nutters they will find something eles to use'' That is straight out of the NRA! are you a member?
I never heard any American argument to the effect that it is people who nuke and therefore nuclear arsenals are not a problem, just the people. The opposite was and is being argued, for example, when discussing Iran's nuclear industry, i.e. possession of nuclear arms must be limited to the "club" in order to eliminate the risk of their being used wantonly - by other than "us" who of course need them to maintain a "balance" in addition to "defending" ourselves (wantonly ? - oh, no, would "we" ever do such a thing, please, "we" are civilised whereas "they" of course are not).
Gun Reform....NOW !
Do we know what this is all about? I just watched the news and they said something about the perpetrators wearing body armour. ???
Could be terrorist related. Our SJW's might have jumped the gun.
/// David Bowdich, the FBI's assistant director in Los Angeles, said the incident was being regarded as "possibly terrorism." Burguan reiterated Wednesday night that terrorism hadn't been ruled out. ///

Perhaps sp1814 could help Mr Bowdich out?

I refer to sp's 11:52 Wed 02nd Dec 2015 thread.

Apparently one of the shooters left a party in high dudgeon and returned with an accomplice to carry out the attack.
Their actions were murderous but don't seem to be terrorist related.
And now the suspects have been named - Syed Rizwan Farook, 28, and Tashfeen Malik, 27
When Americans trot out the 2nd Amendment, it makes me wonder what the Founding Fathers would make of it, did they intend children to shoot their school-mates etc? I think they'll be spinning in their graves. They also never intended women and black people to have equality, so to quote the Constitution is a convenience for the murderers.
Apparently 250 000 americans have died from gunshot wounds in the last decade
The ITN announcer looked a bit shocked at that and presumably thought that a 'zero' might be adrift

odd that everyone knows what the solution is
but the gt american public cant put it into effect
Sky news
Piers Moron has waded in on the side of gun control
so that is a .... dead duck

reader will recollect that when an electronic petition was mounted to deport Piers from the US more than 200 000 signed up - The obama admin sniffily commented that such petitions were not meant to be used as a means of public amusement
ISIS sympathisers in America can buy guns as easy as a can of Dr Pepper ... what's the worst that can happen?
