why not have a 24hr ban on anyone reported for the same thing, say, 3 times?

because with the problem of people using multiple user names one individual could effectively stop someone else using the site for as long as they liked

i don't mean how many times they are reported i mean how many times they actually break the Site Rules.

whether one thing is brought to the eds attention by 10 people or 50, it counts as one.

Re: multiple user names. Is it possible for AB Ed to ban by IP address? This would make it more difficult for importers / idiots to continually post the tripe that we are continually subjected to in here.
