I have been watching The Chase maybe for about a cuppla months.

Anybody enlighten me - when the contestant opts for minus money - what does that ensure. Easier questions. I can't fathom. Ta for answers.

It means they have to answer 1less question to get through to the final chase

It ensures that you have the least number of questions that you need to get right in order to get back to the team.

Same questions but a longer starting distance away from the Chaser.

so maybe if you need 6 to get back - taking the minus - could mean 4 - ok - will look out for that.

Nice team today but hopeless. I am not at all good at quizzes ever so I would never put myself forward knowing I am not good so why do people sorta put themselves forward and it is evident they do not have good general knowledge. Ah well it is only a game.

I wouldn't be so hard Sqad - I do think the last lady blonde hair/wig seemed to me to have been quite sick. Maybe chemo - definitely loss of hair. I felt sorry for her.

They have fewer questions to answer before they get 'home' for a chance to share the loot with the other contestants. It is generally frowned upon, unless the successful contestants, so far, are older; in which case a young person who can answer about pop culture etc. may be forgiven/encouraged to take the best chance to get back and help the team effort. Hope this helps.
