It's only the big supermarkets that are charging. Spears and Co-ops still aren't. I thought they would be too.

Of course. If folk are being forced to pay for bags that were previously complementary they'll buy their bin liners separately and add to the plastic waste that way instead.

it is very very wild here Mikey..stuff flying around...bridge closure does not affect me but is causing mayhem for thousands..lot of folk commute from Fife for work..and Christmas shoppers are mad....train can't cope with the numbers of passengers wanting on....alternative route via Kincardine Bridge adds a lot of miles and hours on a trip over...

Does make my smile when I see people juggling 4 or 5 items rather than pay 5p for a bag and then go and spend £20 on scratch cards plus booze and cigarettes.
