Over the past year it has been increasingly common for ABers to suggest to the OP which post should be considered for.....BEST ANSWER and that mostly depends upon instigator to agree with the post thah he or she has recommended for BEST ANSWER.

It is the privilege of the OP to appoint the prestigious post of BEST ANSWER and not any random poster.

Don't forget - BA is not permanent - it can always be changed. I don't know what this does to the original BA's stats - perhaps Ed could enlighten me.
