What an interesting programme. I was vaguely aware that there was a bit of South America which some people from Wales had colonised many years ago (150 years actually) so I noticed this on BBC4 last night at 8pm and it was very good. So strange to hear Welsh spoken with a slight Spanish accent. It really was a very interesting story and Huw was good too.. I really recomment this on catch up.

Having seen the program previously in Wales, I found it totally absorbing. I've got some knowledge of the Welsh in Patagonia and Huw provides an excellent account in the programme.

Hi Bazile. I'm not too bad thanks. Still plodding along at uni and running out of space on my passport with all the traveling I'm doing to conferences and other uni's worldwide.
Think I'll say at home when they eventually leave me to retire!
