You shouldn't have to write things down, jourdain.
You can do everything you need to while on this page.
I noticed on our first thread that you are 'over complicating' things.
///But you say things like 'paste' and I look for a glue stick. I don't know how to do that. The next problem I have is 'how one switches from one window to another whilst retaining a foothold in the first to which to transfer it (I think that is what you have to do)'. This is not the first effort. ///
You don't need to switch from one window to another or retain footholds.
Once you copy something, it's stored in your computer(until you copy over it) You can go away and cook dinner or go to different web-sites and it will still be there until you decide to 'paste it'.

Try going to the top of this page, jourdain, and you'll see this box;

When you point your 'arrow' at it, it might light up. Left click and it will turn blue.
