I would hardly desribe the Met's response as strongly worded and if you were honest I got the feeling you didn't think so either on the other post. You came across as rather derisive and sceptical with your comment.

You have got it in one. I mentioned a few weeks ago that the public are now getting the police service they deserve. A certain mouthy ABer was incredulous because I said it.
The morale is so low due to lack of support by the public that officers do not think the loss of their job is worth the candle any more.
If certain communities want to bring their tribal feuds to this country then the attitude is let them get on with it. Sharia law will not rule however.Sadly Political Correctness and kow towing is not the answer to bringing law and order back on to our streets.
