I Love "first Dates"

It's got to be one of the most positive programs on telly...always humorous and lighthearted. I love rooting for the couples who seem so right for each other.

I have only watched this programme ONCE - but what I couldn't understand that after allowing cameras to intrude why then are they paying for the meal. me baffled.

Jenny - who pays for dinner is often a bone of contention.

I love it too, but there's just a couple of things I'm confused about.

When they interview the people, some are not wearing the same clothes that they were seen in the restaurant with.

The past couple of weeks they have been showing the waiters/waitresses coming in, and leaving work in their uniforms.
Surely there's a staff room.

I would have thought that the couples are paid expenses/hotels, especially if they have come from the North, and the paying of the bill is just so it looks more real.

I felt sorry for the lesbian elder lady when she was rebuked, thought she was going to burst into tears.

I did too, I thought the lesbian ladies got on well, felt sure they would meet again. Shame.
