Have they stopped making them? They used to be a highlight of Christmas (apart from the Christmas lectures).

After a 10 minute search of the net it appears they are gone, but not forgotten.
From Wikipedia:
"In the early 1990s, a range of tangy Worcester Sauce Twiglets was introduced. These were not as popular as the original flavour and had been withdrawn by the end of the decade"

Omm, nom, nom-nom, nom.

(and then I woke up)

Apparently they re-surfaced in 2010 but only briefly.

Any left over stock will be pretty stale by now ;-(

I'd still give the stale ones a go! How come things like dates still come back every Christmas? Who eats dates for goodness sake? But those twiglets, the best of all Christmas snacks dies out?
Oooh dates, love them, dried figs as well.
We get dates all year round but dried figs at Xmas only, sob sob.

I have to admit. I have never tried either of them. Maybe this year. Are they as good as the legendary twiglets though?
I've never had a chance to try a twiglet Stoofur, let alone a legendary one.
Should this be classed as child/adult abuse?
Be grateful, 1ozzy ;o)
Thanks Jo ;-)
You can make your own. All you need is a packet of Sugar Puffs, and some vomit.

Mr Daniels. You got me all excited then. I went into my local Waitrose and they don't stock it. Also the link says not currently available. I fear that they have gone forever like Alien Spacers. Ahh well :-( Thanks for trying.
Worcester Sauce Twiglets... I never knew they existed (Once upon a time)... Awe I missed on them.

Not being sarky either
*out... on them
I stayed in a hotel where one of my colleageues raided his mini bar during the night. He found a mini packet of Worcester Sauce Twiglets and ate them. The next day, most of the skin on his tongue was peeling off. He had eaten nothing all day apart from the Twiglets. Maybe there have been adverse reports regarding the additives in Worcester Sauce Twiglets and that is why you can`t buy them these days.
