Watched it tonight. Do they pay for all the surgery or does the show fund it? The woman tonight was obviously well off, spending 500+ a month on clothes. Why didnt she pay for all the cosmetic stuff herself. Plus she didnt seem very grateful either!

Funny, I thought the same thing, and was trying to work out this morning how many months' worth of shopping she could have used to pay for the surgery. I'm sure the show pays for it, but she wasn't short of a bob or two if you ask me, although she didn't seem to work.... Nice house! I think she was grateful though, but she had "one of those faces". She'll never get laugh lines, that's for sure!
I loathe this show and everything it stands for. But a good question, none the less! I'd like to think that the production company doesn't finance the surgery (think of the insurance!) because I don't think unneccesary surgery should be encouraged.

In my mind, it's a form of self harm. The volunteers hate themselves so much that they think they need to have bits cut off in order to validate their existance. They don't believe they're worth loving or employing as they are.

All they actually need is a confidance boost (reassuring words, a hair cut, some style advice, some exercises to improve their posture) - not televised humiliation and mutilation. Unfortunately the viewing public got bored of This Morning style makeovers years ago. Only Trinny and Susannah survive.

Viva la wobbly bits!
