I have �2500 to spend on my hols this year. We are a couple living nr London, any ideas on where we can go - considered Jamaica but were put off by not being really able to leave the resorts for two weeks..we need loads of activites - golf/mini golf etc - all ideas appreciated,,,thanks in advance

When do you want to go? If it is out of our season i.e. November-March then go to the Gambia!

Oh, it is rainy season then and is way too hot. Consider for a winter vacation in future though! I got back 3 weeks ago and it was fantastic

Cuba is nice that time of year - although it states it can be the rainy season june, july & august are cuba's hottest months! There are SOO many activites there as well!

Borneo is absolutely Amazing!!!!111 If you saw the BBC programme a week or so ago you'll know how fab. the orang-utans are.The whole country is lovely very friendly and welcoming.Go with "The Travel Collection" who advertise in weekend papers usually Daily Ezpress or Daily Mail and it won't cost a fortune in fact it's well within your budget and when you get there it's a really cheap country to stay in.Best to divide your time between Kuching and the coast at Damai Beach or somewhere similar and if possible spend a few daysat Batang Ai It's a tiny island in a huge reservoir in the midst of the rain forest only reachable by boat or helicopter and there is only one (Hilton) hotel on the island and it's built exactly in the style of a traditional Ibn longhouse so romantic All your trips out are by long boat and there is so much to see and do in each place you can't get bored but incredibly it is really laid back and relaxing
