Good Tv Programmes?

I'm a bit lost for things to watch on TV, now. Nurse Jackie has finished for ever, so has Peep Show. The latest series of Catastrophe has ended. Is there anything good on or coming up that might be buried in the satellite channels that I've missed? I know I could read a book instead, and I do read a lot, but I miss those shows. Any suggestions, please? Even repeats will do if they're good.

ITV Encore has all three episodes of 'Midwinter of the Spirit' at 9pm tomorrow. I've not seen it but RadioTimes recommends it:

To be honest Cloverjo, I've just about given up on the tele. I am reading a thriller by Tania Carver. Much better than any tele.

I'm on Sky usually, Buenchico , but also have access to freeview.

I know what you mean, Sharon, I'm down to episodes of Countdown and repeats of QI when OH isn't watching Poirot or Midsomer Murders.

I don't, bibblebub. I guess that's a separate platform from Sky and Freeview. Thanks, anyway.

Go on to the Sky Planner and in the bottom left box it says "Top Picks".

Select this and it gives you three "tabs"

Top Picks tells you good shows that are on

New Series tells you all new series that are starting

And Suggestions suggests other shows similar to ones you have recorded.

I'm watching the re-run of Bad Girls on Freeview Channel 64, about life in a women's prison. I watched it when it was originally aired (late nineties, I think) and I'm enjoying it just as much the second time round.

Gina, I thought Nurse Jackie was the best programme ever made. I'm so sad that it's finished. Dexter comes close, but that's finished too.
Just reminded me. I have a boxed set of 6 Feet Under that I haven't watched yet.

'Better Call Saul' is due to be screened Feb.15th 2016. I couldn't wait and have bought the DVD 1st season.
