Tess Daly On Strictly

Sad to see Strictly ending for another year but glad not to see any more of Tess Daly, wringing her hands and all touchy feely with contestants. I noticed Katie derham refused to hold her hand after her dance, cant say I blame her, does anyone else feel the same or am I being my usual grumpy old woman? Umm ? Claudie is so natural and Zoe Ball would do a much better job than Tess next year.

Glad it was not just me who felt like that towards Kellie, Divebunny. I just could not take to her always seemed a bit false to me. All the last three were good dancers I just though Jay edged it although Aliona's choice of dances for the final would not have been mine.

I thought the show dances were VERY disappointing this year, with the exception of Kellie's even though it was the first time we got to see all of the finalists.

None of them were particularly showy and certainly not memorable.

I found it a bit weird when Star Wars characters suddenly started doing the charleston.

I thought that ending to Katie and Anton’s showdance was amazing.

I wanted Anton to win. I know he wasn't the best though. I voted for Georgia as I thought she was good.
I like Tess, think she did a good job..

I agree Tess should go. Like an automaton saying the same things to every couple. So false. Don't like Claudia either sorry to say. Hate her make up and she's not an easy spur of the moment presenter. Zoe did the best job, so easy and natural with everyone. She should be the main presenter. Any of the last three could have won but have to admit I voted for Jay. Agree the show dances weren't the best but that's down to the "professionals"

I don't watch it, just sometimes catch the end when I am looking for something else. The contestants always say the same thing - the others are wonderful people and they will remain friends for life! I doubt that. So gushing.

Agree about Tess, she's awful. And if I was Katie I wouldn't have held her hand either after she had mispronounced my name all evening. Did anyone else notice she called her Katie Durham? Everytime!!
Can't stand Anton, he loves himself, thinks he's more important than his partner, talks over her and the judges, and looks to the audience for laughs after laughing at his own jokes first. And he cannot choreograph Latin dances at all and I think Katie would have performed better with another partner. As for him becoming a judge please No No No!

ladybirder, I agree with you about Anton. He cannot choreograph ballroom in a way that makes me sit up and take notice.
I hope he doesn't get the judge's job but doubt that he will because he has a loose tongue and the Beeb can't trust him not to put both feet in it.

Has her voice softened down a bit .just passing the telly to put the goldfish out when I heard it and it was not so awful .
