What's with the Mail positively drooling over Chloe Madeley on the days of the week with a 'y' in them?????
Chloe Madeley is an average looking girl with nice legs and a big nose who happens to be the daughter of a pair of ex-TV celebrities - does she really merit this much space in a daily paper?

Until andy posted I didn't even know she existed!! I still don't know who she is, even less what she's done. And who are her ex-celebrity parents? (On second thoughts don't bother because it is almost certain I've no idea who they are either!!).

"If I were to meet Ms Madeley face to face, I would not dream of being so rude as to pass any comment in her body or her face - but if she puts herself 'out there' as a 'celebrity', then comments will come here way, and if they are nasty and she is upset, then she has the wrong approach to her chosen profession".
So basically, she deserves to have nasty comments directed at her because she has the temerity to be in the papers. Why the nasty dig about her nose? something she cannot control.

Copacetic - //So basically, she deserves to have nasty comments directed at her because she has the temerity to be in the papers.//
That is not what I said.
I said she must expect them, which is not the same as saying she deserves them.
We as a society have a nasty jealous small-minded prurient attitude to the celebrities we create - and hostility is built in to the reception any celebrity is going to receive - but it is rarely if ever actually deserved or merited by their behaviour.

It's not a nasty dig, it's an observation.
A nasty dig would be " ... and she has a big fat ugly nose ..."
I made the observation in the same sentence as advising that I think she has nice legs.
My point was, Ms Madeley is an average looking girl who appears to have done very little to attract media attention except her accident of birth and her modelling career, neither of which single her out for special attention.
