I have a small confession to make. After having been a committed sprout-hater for 62 years, I ate 5 at Xmas Lunch today !
And they weren't bad...they weren't terribly good either but they weren't too bad. Perhaps in another 62 years I might get to actually like them !
But at least I have stopped feeding them secretly to whatever dog happens to be under the table !

Just finished our Christmas lunch( bit late) and we had some lovely sprouts, very small, but lots of flavour and for the first time for a long time I managed to persuade my son (35) to try them. He pronounced they were 'not too bad' - praise indeed. The one thing we don't like is Christmas pudding too heavy after a big meal. Having a Sainsburys Taste the Difference Limoncello Buche de Noel when we have room later on!
