Do pubs/ off licenses have to close earlier than usual?

Same as any other day. The fixed opening times were abolished a few years back. In theory a pub can open 24 hours a day. Our local Weatherspoons is open from 8am to midnight same as every day.

Nalit, I mean it is down to each landlord / owner they can choose how long they open, there are no fixed times now.

No its not, Boxing Day is officially Monday 28th January this year (tomorrow).

Because the day after Christmas Day was a Saturday then Monday becomes Boxing Day.
