He likes me, he likes me not!

This guy told me he liked me and I didn’t want to lead him on. I felt like he gave up talking to me and complimenting me for a while and I began to kind of miss it. The other day he spoke to me and said ‘hey beautiful’ and I realised for the first time I got a butterfly in my stomach (I sound really naïve!!). Over the past few days he signed up to the same sport activity as me when he wasn’t going to at first but when he saw me he signed up and I have caught him looking at me in class. I’m beginning to kind of like him but I’m not sure if it’s in that way. There are some things that put me off though; the people he hangs around with and when he is having a down day. It’s a bit awkward though because we never speak when we see each other, just on facebook. When he compliments me I always feel like he is just taking the micky and don’t know if he’s serious or not, is he and is he playing hard to get? I’ve never had this attention before so I’m not used to how to take it and don’t know what to do?

If you can't communicate in the flesh .. only on Facebook, that will make a great relationship, won't it!?

sophie rather concentrate on having lots of friends and as many activities as you can - that way you'll meet lots of different people in lots of different circumstances. You may or may not get togther with 'him' but try and play it very relaxed instead of putting all your energy into thinking about what may or may not happen. Good luck and keep us updated.
