It's Driving Me Nuts!!!!

Does anyone else complain about this website freezing all the time? I manage to get on it, then can't type anything as the letters don't, and then some but with some missing. And everytime I try to ask a question - or answer one, it freezes on me and I can't get it back. Have to start again. Sometimes I get a message about a problem with the site certificate, but only sporadically. Is it me?

Sometimes site certificate errors are caused by your devices time and date settings being incorrect.

You are not alone with your problems with AB, percy. I also get the freezing routine, and sometimes a message: Do you really want to leave this page? (or something along those lines), which necessitates restarting my PC. I sometimes vow to leave AB and never to return, as I don't have such annoying problems on other websites, but it's like a drug, I reckon.

Are you using Internet Explorer?

Have you tried using a different..I think the word is browser, but could be wrong......I never have any problems with Chrome

A lot of people have trouble with IE on here, has Baths say's best to change your browser for Answerbank.

Thanks SlackAlice, I'll check the time and date settings. And thanks, paddywak and bookbinder for your comments too. I feel like hurling the computer through the window at times - it's only on this site that I have trouble. It has taken me 4 tries to reply to this - Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

I find this site impossible to use on my smartphone......the submit button won't work. So I have to use the mobile device which is a fag , or my lap top.
