Copying Music From Pc To Usb Flash Drive

This is driving me absolutely mad! I have copied music from a cd to my laptop. When I copy it to the usb, all the songs are there, but it will only play one tune at a time. I have also tried changing the format to MP3 from the default, but to no avail. I am using Windows 7 and Media Player, and tried using another usb in case one was faulty. HELP PLEASE.

Tunes don't group themselves to play together: must be a Media Player setting ? Try a different player.

How do I find another player then please?

One method to use is Create a new Playlist in Media Player, then using Windows File Explorer highlight all the music Files on the USB device and 'drag' the the hihlighted list via the mouse to the media player Playlist area.

Media player will then play them in sequence.

However, as has also been indicated, Windows Media Player is total rubbish. Both VLC and GOM are far, far better, with the better-known VLC winning most of the plaudits in the technical press:

Not the experience to recommend one, other contributors may be, but do a web search for free media player.

You don't need to create a playlist, just select Play All on Windows Media Player.

I have never created a playlist in my life but when I press Play All then all the tracks play.
