Indeed so. Hearing Andrew Davies trying to claim he's done anything other than fashion a good old soft porn bodice ripper out of W and P is actually quite funny.

I never watch any drama, or detective series when I've read and enjoyed the book. My imagination never coincides with the film makers and mine is better!
