Nasal Washing Fao Sqad

Good morning Sqad ! Once again I seek your opinion. Mr.Sam has been diagnosed with sinusitus ( poor lamb). He has been prescribed antibiotics for a week and paracetamol if he needs it. As I am an dedicated nasal Washerouterer, I think it would help him too, but he says he doesn't want to make it worse. Waddya fink? Also, of he caught the virus from me ( I have had a cold since before Christmas, it's getting better now, especially as yesterday I took some pseudoefridine, which I remembered was once prescribed to me by a ENT when I felt like this pre radio frequency blast) could it mutate into sinusitus ? Apparently it is my fault .

There is no point in washing out a sinus, if there is nothing in it and just because people say that they have "sinusitis" is meaningless....amateurs.

Sinusitis is a blocked nose with thick coloured nasal discharge and an X-Ray showing the sinuses "full." Then and only then would i allow anyone washing out my sinuses.

Now washing your "nose " out is quite a different kettle of fish and this may be indicated for certain conditions which are not commonly met with.

So......Mr Sam has been advised perfectly as to the treatment of his condition and doesn't need his sinuses washing out.

As for you, or indeed anybody else, a cold could turn into sinusitis........but not as commonly as people would like to make out.

Oops I don't think I explained myself properly. The GP diagnosed the sinusitus, I merely suggested he washed his nose out, as I do everyday.

Ah! O.K, but sinus washouts and nasal washouts (douches)are quite different procedures.

Your condition is nothing to do with sinusitis and your are washing your "nose" out for quite a different reason.

Okay thanks. At the moment when I wash my nose out a LOT of mucus comes out. Quite a relieving feeling. Green and yucky. I only do it once a day.

At least Christmas Day is only one day in Spain.
