pin code for an mp3player?

i have an mp3 player that i can store data files on too and it occurred to me that if i lost it, the thief would have access to my personal files.

does anyone know if i can set a pass code on my player?

or where i would look to find this option?

Very doubtful you'll find a PIN code on the player. Things like Word and Excel will allow you to password individual documents.

What make is the player? Might help with an answer.

i have no idea of the make or model - it just says digital mp3 player on the box and on the player (???) searched all over it, strange eh?
