Gosh, that sounds cold.
Whereabouts are you?
The son-and-heir is in Vancouver at the moment and tells me that have had snow there.
Or you could stay at home and drink tea....
Question Author
Usually, Vancouver is quite mild compared with other parts of the country. I'll be drinking tea when I get home:)
Question Author
Ladyalex, the Toronto area.
Put your hat on as well, Stuey. The one with the ear flaps.
Question Author
You know what, Tilly? I never wear a hat. Mrs stuey says I'm crazy...She could be right.
Get the snow shoes out, stuey.
Question Author
No snow to speak of. We got about 4" a few days ago, but the mild weather and rain got rid of most of it.
.....well, your scarf then!
I thought it must be a bit chilly elsewhere if there was snow in Vancouver......please put your hat on Stuey. Don't want your ears to break off.
Question Author
I wrap a scarf around my face up to eye-level.
Do you have hair, Stuey?
Question Author
Unfortunately, not a great deal of it:)
I bet you're the only person walking around without a hat on.
Question Author
Actually hat wearers are in the minority, believe it or not. That may sound strange, but it's a fact. Obviously, people working outside usually wear one. But for just gallivanting around town, no.
I do believe you, Stuey. Hats mess your hair up!

When we went to Quebec for Christmas, a few years ago, everyone was wearing hats.
Question Author
The nice thing is that the sun is shining, and we've gained 11 minutes of daylight since Dec 21st and it increases by about a minute per day...Great news!
